=/ So yeah, a bit ago we had some really bad storms pass by- and by bad I mean really bad, tornado warnings and everything. It was the first time I heard the emergency sirens go off since I've lived here. Thankfully we didn't get any really serious damage (I saw one house that had a tree literally fall on their house). Unfortunatly during the storm we had a power outage which caused out sub-pump to stop working, which basically means our basement flooded.

The room I keep all my artwork, supplies, video games, computer, basically everything is in the basement. I'm really lucky that we'd had a similar storm (not as bad) a couple months ago which scared me enough to put everything down here in plastic containers, but that didn't save the carpet from some serious water damage. Long story short, I have to move all my stuff out of here because we have to get the entire carpet replaced so we can avoid a mold problem, which means that for the time being I wont have much access to my computer. >_>; Not that I was really updating or anything before hand, it's just that now I have a legitimate reason for it.

No worries, all my art stuff is safe and sound as are my video games and computer... So I didn't lose anything in the flood, except for of course the use of my basement room.
